HOW WILL I PICK UP THE VEHICLE IF MY FLIGHT ARRIVES AT NIGHT OR LATE?

Whenever you pick up a car at the airport it is very important that you provide us with the correct flight number so that the person in charge of giving the car knows the exact time of your arrival. Normally, at the airports there is service until 23:00 or 24:00, depending on the provider. If yout flight is delayed, please advise the car rental company directly to reconfirm the new pick up time and to find out if they will offer service at the indicated time.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DRIVE OUTSIDE SPAIN WITH THE RENTAL VEHICLE?

Yes, with some providers and whenever it is within the European Union and with prior and informed consent of the rent a car company. Driving the vehicles to North Africa is completely prohibited. Traveling abroad in some cases compels the purchase of an extra insurance.

CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON DRIVE THE VEHICLE?

Only the persons who are stated in the, previously agreed contract as authorized drivers may drive the car.

CAN YOU DELIVER THE VEHICLE TO ME IN A PLACE OTHER THAN YOUR OFFICE?

With some providers it is possible, as long as the place of delivery is within a driving distance of 10 kilometers from any office of our representatives. Remember that this service is offered on request and must be approved by the provider itself.

CAN I PAY FOR THE CAR RENTAL IN CASH?

No, it is necessary to do the payment by credit card in the name of the main driver. This payment will be made at the collection of the vehicle. They will hold in your credit card a certain amount (guarantee deposit) that will be released as soon as they check that you have returned the car in good condition.

CAN I RECEIVE A QUOTE AND MAKE RESERVATION BY PHONE, FAX OR E-MAIL?

No, it's easier than that! You can get the quotation and make the reservation online in a few steps. Once you select the place of collection, the dates, the time and posible extrast such as insurance, you will get a list with different vehicles and their respective prices and characteristics. The reservation can only be made through our website, although if you have doubts you can always call our phone number or write us. Please make sure you write down your email address correctly.

CAN I PICK UP THE VEHICLE AT ANY TIME?

It depends, if the place of collection is not an airport and, instead, is one of our car providers offices, you must stick to the schedules of these offices. Usually they are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. That is why we recommend you pick up your car at the airport or train station as, apart from being more economical, you can pick up the vehicle outside these hours.

CAN I PICK UP THE VEHICLE IN ONE OFFICE AND RETURN IT IN ANOTHER?

Yes, as long as the pick-and-drop selector allows you, you can do it. Cars rented in the Canary Islands and the Balearics can not go to another island. This one way service in almost all cases carries an extra charge, depending on the provider and the pick up and drop off offices, please check the conditions.

CAN I TOW ANOTHER VEHICLE IF IT HAS PROBLEMS?

No, you can not tow any other vehicle with your rented vehicle.

CAN I RESERVE A PARTICULAR MAKE, MODEL OR COLOR OF CAR?

It depends. You can request a specific model or characteristic in the reservation and we will do what is in our hands to do so, but we do not promise that it is possible since everything depends on the availability of the provider, since reservations are not made by specific models, but by car groups, that is, all cars within a selected group will have similar characteristics but we do not guarantee the specific model.

WHAT DOES THE INSURANCE COVER?

It depends on which rent a car company you will book your car with. In most cases the insurance is fully comprehensive with excess. If you wish to have peace of mind, we recommend the PREMIUM option offered by many of our providers. This option already includes full insurance without excess and full to full fuel policy, so that you only pay for the fuel you actually use. In order to see what the insurance includes you must consult the rent a car company conditions. Please note that there are certain damages that are not covered by any insurance. Some of these damages are loss of keys, damage to radio-cd or upholstery, refuelling of the wrong type of fuel, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, lost or stolen car parts (spare tyre, jacket...etc.), as well as any damages that are not on an accident report.

WHAT WILL I DO IF THE VEHICLE BREAKS DOWN?

Our vehicles are usually less than 12 months old. In case there is a problem with the car, you will have a road assistance telephone number from the car provider that you have contracted. On this number they will attend you and solve the problem in the best way and as quicky as posible.

WHAT DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

In general terms you need to be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with a minium of 1 year driving experience, although in some cases they ask for even two years minimum and minimum age of 23. Moreover, it is necessary that the main driver holds a credit card in his name (not debit card). In some cases, especially for specific models, they ask to be more than 25 years old. If you are under 25, in many cases, providers will apply a young driver charge, these supplements can be checked in the reservation conditions. In some cases, some companies allow you to pay for your vehicle by debit card or cash, but in general, by credit card. You will also have to show your valid driver's license and ID or passport.

HOW MUCH WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THE PETROL?

Obviously, the price of petrol will vary according to the type of vehicle, the price of fuel in the market, and the collection area. Approximately we can say that it can be between 70 and 150 Euros.

WHAT DOES DIRECT PAY MEAN?

It means direct payment. That is, you will pay the amount of the rental directly when you pick up the vehicle. IMPORTANT: In the vast majority of cases it is necessary to pay with a credit card to pick up the car.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

In prepaid reservations there are no cancellation fees as long as you advise us during the first 48 hours after making the reservation. After that time, you will be charged an administrative fee of € 18 or the equivalent of the amount paid if it is less than that amount. If we do not receive a notice before the date and time of collection, no refund will be given. There are special cancellation conditions with some rent a car companies. Please see the conditions section under the provider's logo to know exactly what conditions apply to that particular case. If your reservation has an after hours service, it is advisable that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance or you can contact directly the rent a car provider.

DOES THE VEHICLE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?

In most cases, it does, although it depends on the particular car group. Please, check our list of results where we specify the characteristics of each category.

WHERE IS IT MORE ECONOMICAL TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE?

Usually at the airports, ports and train stations as their opening hours are longer and there is more time to collect the vehicle than in any other office of the provider because in that case you must stick to the office hours or pay a supplement.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE?

You should contact the rent a car company directly and report the accident as soon as possible, preferably during the next 48 hours. You will need to fill in the accident report if there has been another vehicle or third parties involved and in case of damage without a third party you have to file a damage report. It is very important that all damages are reflected in writing.
